Let me make my point first. It is my conviction that peace is
the healer. Anything disjoined, or fragmented, is not of peace, which also
speaks of oneness and solidity. Since the WW II America has become the ‘world’s
police’ an expression I heard used by several Europeans, Germans in particular.
I could go into human psychology here, but that is not the point. Out of
necessity, I guess, the US was forced to fight foreign wars. Despite our
shortcomings the foundation upon which we have built this Nation is solid and
it should remain sound and strong. God blessed us with smartness and innovative
abilities, an envy of the nations. This envy will continue and even it will
increase; therefore, we either open the gates (of immigration) or shut them
down for good.
US & MEXICO
The border with Mexico will soon become like the Berlin Wall
or the Israeli security wall. The country undergoes reconstruction, but the
forces within carry too many elements of caution if not even fear. A
manipulation through fear is a common tactic, but should we use it at all? We
are admonished to believe in God and have faith, but when it comes to
reconstruction of America we fear.
IRAQ
Faith and fear cannot go hand in hand. Sacrifices must be
made, but they are painful. I hope that the lessons have been learned. What did
we get from Iraq in return for thousands of our boys killed? Israeli
Intelligence knew about Saddam’s chemical weapons stockpile, which he moved to Syria
and hardly anyone makes this connection.
What do we get from Afghanistan? Osama Bin Laden is dead, the
war on terror goes on, but on a completely different level. Smart phones are
only tiny dead giveaways of what we really possess when it comes smart and ever
smarter technology, with which we must fight terrorism. Today’s car
navigational systems were first created purely for military, but we use them
today, just a Google Earth maps. The less fear we have the faster we develop –
I say.
THE FOUNDATION OF AMERICA
Don’t worry, don’t fear, have faith in the foundation of
America, just watch out for any subversive moves to change our Constitution and
we will be fine.
Psychological health leads to an overall health. Education and
again proper education is the priority in this great country of ours, the more
you know the less fear you will have. The more you put into your brain the
faster it will function; unlike computers which eventually run out of space;
but we have fixed that too. The new hard drives become smaller in size, but
much bigger in capacity, so it is with US healthcare. Inflation is inevitable,
people or government caused. American brainpower is about the take another leap
forward. I am optimistic and confident that it is just around the corner.
All European countries have pretty sound healthcare systems;
we leg behind them. It’s not a political issue, but rather humane; and yes,
very much practical. I think that we politicize things that should fall into
the humane category and stay there, don’t you? Let’s not only be humane about
our pets but above all, people.
The Fiscal Cliff we are facing can be a monster or a slogan that
will prod us to do something about the mess we have gotten ourselves into. It
is fixable and it will produce the expected returns for us and for our
children. Once a sound plan is in place we will be fine. I have faith in God
the Sovereign one and He looks over America.
I think that we have overburdened ourselves from which comes
our uneasiness. It’s time to lift our burden and smile. Let me quote the Bible
(Psalm 37:25) “I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the
righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.” We’ve been in much worse
situations before, but we dug our way out if that hole too. Dice are still
rolling, wait until they stop and turn up the right numbers.
There is something bottled up in us that needs to be uncorked
and emptied. We seem to be glued to stories of violence and bloodshed either
depicted in literature, or in movies. The more gruesome the more fascinating
these things are, as if our genes echo our history. Two types of events excite
our senses the most: procreation through sex, and life’s termination through
killing.
No war has ever started after all diplomatic peace efforts were
completely exhausted.
NUCLEAR WASTE
Europe’s nuclear waste has been regularly sent to Africa,[i]
but how much of it do greedy and irresponsible sailors dump into the
international waters? Is it cheaper to make it vanish, or to properly dispose
of it deep beneath the ground? What about the Somali pirates?[ii]
Famines and the ongoing starvation of children are often a result of those
warlords’ desire for power.
[Excerpt] In 1991, the government of Somalia – in the Horn of
Africa – collapsed. Its nine million people have been teetering on starvation
ever since – and many of the ugliest forces in the Western world have seen this
as a great opportunity to steal the country’s food supply and dump our nuclear
waste in their seas. Yes: nuclear waste. As soon as the government was gone,
mysterious European ships started appearing off the coast of Somalia, dumping
vast barrels into the ocean. The coastal population began to sicken. At first
they suffered strange rashes, nausea and malformed babies. Then, after the 2005
tsunami, hundreds of the dumped and leaking barrels washed up on shore. People
began to suffer from radiation sickness, and more than 300 died. Ahmedou
Ould-Abdallah, the UN envoy to Somalia, tells me: “Somebody is dumping nuclear
material here. There is also led, and heavy metals such as cadmium and mercury
– you name it.” Much of it can be traced back to European hospitals and
factories, which seem to be passing it on to the Italian mafia to “dispose” of
cheaply. When I asked Ould-Abdallah what were the European governments doing
about it, he said with a sigh: “Nothing. There has been no cleanup, no
compensation, and no prevention.” [End of excerpt.]
All the pollutants we have dumped into the oceans, not to
mention all the sunken warships and submarines, some of which may be nuclear,
decaying below poisoning our planet. What’s in those sunken military
submarines, and with what sort of experimental fuels were they powered we do
not know.
BOTTLED UP UPHEAVALS
Human bottled up upheavals have much to do with our genetic
makeup, which according to recent studies (from University of Cambridge London
2006) genes do remember, particularly the numerous past wars. Daytime TV shows
have found a way to trickle out these accumulated negative ions by allowing
people to just go for each other’s throat. It’s obvious to me that the
unresolved bottled up issues impede our overall progress and take away from our
IQ. Instead of progressing we seem to be regressing by giving into these
war-genes in us.
Quoting “How God Changes Your Brain” by Andrew Newberg M.D.
and Mark Robert Waldman. “We all have two
brains—one selfish and suspicious, another open-minded and kind. Since we live
in a world filled with uncertainties, both brains are constantly on the alert.”
When John Wayne the actor was diagnosed with cancer in 1964 he
said, “I’ve had lung cancer, the big C. But I’ve beaten the son of a bitch.
Maybe I can give some poor bastard a little hope by being honest. I want people
to know cancer can be licked.”
John Wayne beat lung cancer in 1964; however, he died 15 years
later after a struggle with cancer of the stomach.
FALSE MINDSET
Our war mindset response to something bad is combative, when
in fact the war-maker is sick and the peacemaker is healthy for peace heals.
I have written a book “WAR IN A BOTTLE” that not only deals
with war and peace, on different societal levels, but it also points to the
exit door and to complete healing. We are being challenged to raise our
intelligence, something, which we can ignore and keep the status quo, or fully
embrace and eventually impact the world if not change it for better.
